After spending some time thinking about your reply I’d like to come back your comment about Boomers that have passed never having been in love. The question I’m pondering is this, does one have to have been in love to live a happy life? Or can one live a happy live not having ever been in love?

I not sure but I think that love and happiness can be mutually exclusive ,but is there any more value put on happiness if one is in love? Like if love = $1.00 and happiness = $1.00, would love + happiness = $2.50?

Is ‘being in love’ a necessary part of being a whole person?

Must sit on a rock and meditate on this one.
