I echo the sentiments you share here. If men want to have an adult relationship they have to have their financial shit together. The reality is, having a relationship/babies/living dwellings/etc need resources and $. If you and your partner are not growing and metaphorically building then you are stagnating and dying.

In the 'old days' these men could just coast into a decent paying job and get by but as more women enter the workforce they're demanding equals and that's causing a lot of men get all mad because "that's not how my Dad did it!"

Yes, times are different, and quite honestly better, because there is move to more egalitarianism. Men shouldn't be afraid, they should embrace and work on making themselves the better. That's the mindshift the majority of us men need to make.
