I met my partner on Match.com 100's of years ago. Before I met her I was on there for at least a year and had a lazy ass profile. I went on a few dates.

One day I was like "fuck this" put together a really detailed profile and then start reaching out to women that I liked and spent the time to put together and good opening message.

I read their profiles and if there was something we had and interest in, like photography, I would ask "Are you a Canon or Nikon shooter? I'm a Canon guy and I love shooting landscapes. What about you?"

When I did that I started get more dates and more fun. What you put into life you get out, it's not just sex and partners, but everything and good communication is at the heart of it all.
