I saw that movie a long time ago and while the whole seduction of the husband and wife by Chloe was interesting and titillating, it was s stupid movie generally speaking.
I think sex workers get a raw deal because they're often looked at through the lens of Judeo-Christianity. After all, the most famous "whore" in JC is Mary Magdalene (MM).
While I question the existence of Jesus himself, some have argued that MM was Jesus's wife and when the "church" began to organize after Jesus's death, women were then quickly relegated to a subservient position. Jesus was thrust into the super-spiritual aspect (son of God, etc) and he would never sully himself with an earthly wife, so MM became a whore.
Let's be realistic here, what's the probability of a Jewish man at that period NOT being married, and at the age of 30? If Jesus did exist, he would've been married to a woman before he started his ministry and altered life on this planet for eons.
But all this doesn't fit the narrative of the control structure of the Church and what better way to keep women and their sexuality under control than labeling them a whore.
