I wholeheartedly agree. It's about creating a sex-positive environment for the kids as they grow up and providing age-appropriate information when they ask. I'm so freaking lucky that both my son and daughter feel comfortable talking to me about this subject (and others).
I told my son and daughter recently that sex will be a big part of their lives post-puberty and it's important to be informed of all the complex "stuff" it entails.
I grew up in a religious repressive environment where sex was Satan's way to drag to hell. Women only had sex to keep a man (they hated it apparently) and anything outside of man-woman sex was deviant.
Thank you so much for reading!!!
