If you're on Reddit I'd direct you to r/antiwork. While Reddit is a small sample of the working population, I believe their grievances are universal. The current direction we are on is unsustainable.

My niece was just here over the weekend and told us how her firm is blatantly exploiting her and her young co-workers. Granted she's a recent graduate but was top of her class, won many design accolades, and is all around the type of creative employee you want. She's underpaid and overworked and is now considering a career change. The reason why they're doing this to her? So she can "cut her teeth" and because that's the way they were treated too.

As someone who left a similar design occupation after 20 years, I told her that I wish I had done it sooner. Life is too short and you will not say on your deathbed, "I wished I'd have worked more."

I've often thought about becoming some sort of "life coach" because I have lots of experiences to share. Maybe in a couple of years.
