This is the key passage.
Over the years I've given this some deep thought. In some ways Sex Workers are like guides for men, women, and couples to help them figure themselves out. I think many confused men who struggle in a world of toxic masculinity could learn the art of how to treat a future lover/partner better.
So often we men are crippled at an early age not knowing how to interact with women on a more intimate level.
I could've easily fallen victim to this if it weren't some women Bodhisattvas when I lived in New Mexico. They helped me understand women better and see them in a different light than just conquests (of course I'm open to that type of role play).
