While I agree with you that even a text is better than ghosting but if I don't hear from anyone in a certain time period I just move on. What's the worst for me is being gas-lit.

A "friend" that was in my wedding party completely ignores me, has cut me off completely, and then when I run into him he's like "Hey, where you been? You never call anymore." That earns a big FU from me.
