Your post reminds me of two Japanese artistic philosophies that I love. Wabi Sabi and Kintsugi. There is value in that chipped vase, it's lived, and it has stories. We don't throw that away, it's filled with gold, and becomes more beautiful with the scars and imperfections. Imperfection is beautiful, at least to me.
