You did the right thing by wearing a mask, you are compassionate to your fellow humans. When I first visited Asia I wondered why some people wore masks out in public - it was so foreign to me. My partner told me that they do it out of respect for others.

If they feel sick or are sick, they don't want to spread that sickness to others out of respect and kindness. I thought that was a really compassionate thing to do.

Here in the USA? It's F You lady, go take your mask and shove it up your you know what. It's really sad that we've devolved as a nation into bratty selfish teenagers who don't care about anyone else.
